Boy Aprons - Refashioned Curtains

Best Blogger Tips
I was making heaps of cute girl clothes and I realized I needed something cute and boyish for my 2 1/2 year old son.  He was in the phase of wiping his dirty hands on his shirt (ok, he's still in that phase), and I needed something that he'd want to wear.  I needed something that was cool to a 2 year old boy.
Hmmm.
I was at a garage sale a few weeks ago and found 4 cute Tonka Truck curtains - Bingo!!
The material was perfect - it's thick enough to be practical and boy enough to be wearable.  And, most importantly, it can hold Thomas and trains.
Here's the result.
And now, it's not just an apron: it's an art smock/rock holder/wear in the yard when he's helping dad.
